New Phase

I am moving to a new phase now
'No smartphone' phase more like...

My phone was stolen last 2 week
and I take it as 'tiada rezeki'
So, no whatsapp, no FB Mobile, no Instagram, no Twitter for now
Until further notice

But on another related note,
To the New Phase note that is...

I am now in my second trimester as they call it,
21 weeks to be exact
We've been blessed with this beautiful gift entrusted to us by Allah S.W.T
Pregnancy has been beautiful so far,
No morning sickness, no weird cravings
Only 100 visits to the loo add up to the list and tonnes of crankiness symptoms for booTak to adapt to
But I am not complaining, as this is considered normal

I hope all of you can share some doa for our health and everything to be okay and smooth
InsyaAllah...

Much love,
Nana

Our Reception

I know this is an extreme late post. But I just received my pictures from the official photographers. Hehehe. Not their fault, but it was purely mine as we are a real

Move on.

Our reception was held at Dewan Perdana Felda on the 26th October 2011. (yah I know I know its like 4 months back. hehehe)

It was an odd date since the booking was done at an extremely ad hoc basis as we had to bring fwd the reception scheduled on 7 April 2012 to this date due to my late FIL condition. But Allah lebih menyayangi abah yang dikasihi...

Lets begin the story with the preparation bit. We booked Double Tree by Hilton, merely 5 minutes away from the hall to get ready. Registration was a little bit chaotic since we were late and the suite that I booked was not available as promised so we had to take the executive room and it is very small for us to get ready.

Imagine 5 photographers, 2 videographer, 2 pengapits, 2 make up person and the 2 of us cramped in the room.>

But I was still happy!

[look at my happy face]

[finally, I look pretty]

I was dolled up by Freda Santos, the famous MUA as recommended by KS Entourage. Initially I booked Kak Liza for the night but since Freda was already included in the deal so I had to let Kak Liza go. :( I love you kak liza (if you are ever reading this)

To sum up everything related to the night, the list as below:
Make up and hair : Freda Santos
Our Attire : Syahrir Nurdin
Our material : Jakel near Jalan TAR
Jewellery : Custom set by Ariff D Tanjung
Shoes : Custom shoes from Ariff D Tanjung
Photographer : danialhaikal studio
Videographer : CST Production
Bridemaids' Attire : Kebaya material from Pantas Batek, Kelantan. Tailoring was her own
Location, and catering : Dewan Perdana Felda
Invitation cards : Some card maker I forgot. It was done by Rizhan
Live Feed: Rizhan's friend
Kompang and gamelan: Rizhan's friend

[tonnes of accesories]

[on our way to the hall]

[he cant wait to go out. he was more nervous than me]

[walking towards the holding room to meet the VVIP]

[our beautiful pelamin by KS Entourage Sdn Bhd]

The concept and theme for the night was 'Classic Malay: Balairong Seri', the idea was thrown to us by KS (the Principal for KS Entourage) when we met him at Marriot Putrajaya when we were still in searching the hall mode.

I have to admit that the pelamin was beyond words. It was more than what I ever dream of it. Well, lets be honest here. I have never dream for a big wedding and never would have crossed my mind to have it at this scale.

[his hulubelalangs]

The entrance concept was a little bit difference as he walked in first with his hulubalang and walked in later with my dayangs and we meet at the pelamin which is supposed to be our balairong seri whatever. hahahaha...and believe me it was not my idea

The whole plan was his idea. We usually hear stories bout bride turning bridezilla making sure things goes according to their plan but this one is groomzilla

*sorry baby...hehehhee*

[that's me, walking alone a-la- catwalk kucing siam since the kain was so sempit i had to walk exactly like kucing siam]

[meeting up at the balairong seri la konon]

[mak kenik and aunty norlia as the emcees]

[memohon sembah memulakan majlis]

[my beautiful bridesmaid, ina]

[mama mwahh mwaah dgn hubby]

[the exciting silat scene]

[kengkonon sultan dan permaisuri]

We had 4 different types of speech that night. One from best friend, one from the brother who didnt make it for the wedding as he was in the U.S, one from the family and one from us (more like from rizhan since I looked like a total bimbo smile smile look pretty only. hehehehe)

[part 1: from best friend Aishah and Jamalee]

Part 1 was more like to introduce how we met. But since the real cupid has a stage fright so she outsourced it to Rizhan's best friend Aishah and she dragged Jamalee as well

I love Aishah's speech. It was one honest speech and a thoughtful one. Jamalee's speech was more like ceramah by ustaz

[part 3: from the families]

Mama, Uncle Jaafar and Ana were representing the family in thanking the guest for the night. Ouh ya, part 2 takde gambar. hhehehe.

[part 4: from rizhan]

Theres a reason why we gave out speech that night. It was to thank personally all abahs' friends who came from all over the world (literally) just to attend the wedding.

The guest invited for the night were from the list made by Abah personally before he was admitted to the hospital. On his way back from my house for the merisik, he wrote down every single name in his small black book and we feel that we must invite all these people to fulfill his wish.

The guest for the night came from Indonesia, Japan, Spore and even US to celebrate us and we feel extremely blessed to know that Abah had wonderful friends who always want to remember him by.

[rizhan and abah's best friend]

We also prepared one multimedia show that shows up abah's picture and it was beautifully presented along with 'Pergi' song sang by Rizhan's friend

It was a touching moment. Al-fatihah...

We miss you Abah

All in all it was a beautiful wedding and thank you to everyone involved. and thank you booTak for giving me one reception that I will always remember for the rest of my life

[Review]: Philea Resort & Spa, Melaka

Okay this is a long overdue entry, bear with me.

After we got married, the only vacation that we went was KK, Sabah; which I did not blog about it. Hhehehe. Gambar sikit maaa....

So I thought might as well I blog about the short vacation that we had mid Dec 2011 (i know, its been a month already...)

It was literally a short one where we head South to Johor to meet the one and only, JPO. Hehehe...that I shall blog about it in another post, or in my dream more like.

So as a pit stop, we turned left at Ayer Keroh exit and stayed at the famous Philea Resort & Spa. I read about it in Ratu Sehari magazine, famous for its surroundings and first ever log resort in Malaysia. Log? Erm imagine log cake for xmas, so you are pretty much there

So, shall we proceed to the galleria?

: booTak checking out the outside:

: My name is Philea :) :

: the complete tea and coffee making facilities:

Ouh ya, they used Ahmad Tea (or was it Dilmah tea)...hhehehe. No specific reason for mentioning, just that I love tea.

: trying to figure out the wireless thingamagic:

: while Im busy helping myself with the camera :

: ruang rehat untuk minum Ahmad tea sambil sembang2 dengan rakan sebilik. Ooopss hubby :

: but then again he prefer this area, ciggy break area *sigh* so much love :

: so i make friend with encik TV :

We stayed at the deluxe room where it costs us RM485++. Yah its a little bit on the high side but its worth it. If you are a nature addict, you will have a love hate relationship with this resort. You will love the nature that they are trying to mirror in their room decoration, structure and what not but you will hate the management for having to cut tonnes of trees to build the rooms. So, I chose to neutral bout it.

: the array of amenities :

: i always love hotel that provide toothbrush, i always forgot maaaa to bring mine :

The surroundings are breathtaking as well. You could actually hear the sound of insects and feel wind blowing. cheewahhhhhh...

: the gigantic swimming pool :

: kindly ignore our sepet-ness :

Good facilities provided by the resort such as Gym, Sauna Room, Spa, and many more. But the resort loss its exclusivity and luxury sense when it comes to breakfast buffet. Too many people cramping in one area and booTak have to q for omelette. Hurmmm...no nice.

All in all, it was a lovely stay and I dont mind coming here again *wink at hubby*

2 months and counting

No, I am not pregnant if thats what you think when you read the title.
At least not yet. *hehehe*

Yesterday marked the 2 months for us, to be in this holy knot, lifetime commitment between me and booTak.
Boo hoo, no fancy celebration what not, instead we were at klcc * i was forced to wait at klcc for him as he worked late yesterday*, had dinner at foodcourt (did I tell you the ikan bakar + sotong with spicy sauce is damn good there) and while waiting for the food to arrive, we played game

Oh well not really a game la, more like sticker game kind of thing.

I was at eclipse yesterday trying to kill time but unfortunately I killed my wallet too when I was there browsing for the latest collection. Cant blame me though, the 50% tag really played its role in persuasive action. HEBAT!

Anyway, before I move further can I just tell you that eclipse store at klcc has the best customer service personnel! EVER! there were very nice, the both of them and very friendly. and they were selling this charity sticker by World Vision (i think thats also part of the paperdoll project to raise money for children in africa)

"Sayang, beli la sticker, 10 ringgit je, boleh tolong kanak2, kesian diorang"

"Tapi kalau beli 2 15 ringgit je"

Oh well, how can I say no to anything relates to charity. They showed me that the sticker that I bought are for helping the kids to get water. Ahhhhhh, makes me feel like buying more sticker then.

In the end, I did pay for the sticker and the both of them were really happy as if I bought something that they sell personally and they gain profit out of it. Sincerity really shows its face yesterday for the both of them and I felt warm

So, back to the earlier story, while waiting, we stick the stickers onto the main board and we had fun. Really, I tell you sometimes the small small stuff that you do together with your significant others really makes your realtionship feels warm and the laugh that we had when I stick the sticker perigi floating on the air was genuine

Maybe you should try too, if lazy to buy sticker just play fruit ninja or play Amazing Race games on iPad.

Heheheheh

ketap bibir like kanak kanak je

can you see the floating perigi? *kekekekkee*

booTak decided to be gila kuasa and stick them all. no laaahhh kidding...

So far, no doubt marriage really needs effort from both parties, and adjusting may need time but I am grateful to have him as my husband because seriously who can really take my crap anyway? hehehe

Love you booTak! *i doubt you are reading this. blogserius.com lagi menarik kot. hehehehe

Ending

So my inai dah nak habis.
Hehehehe
That marks the end of my bride moment...
Sigh
I have to admit
I miss being a bride
I dont miss the prep time, I certainly miss the wedding day itself
Its so nice when people attended to your needs by any means...eventhough sometimes it did sound unreasonable
Hahahahha

But now,
Back to reality...
*slaps forehead*

p/s: I just realised I have yet to write about my wedding day. hhahahaha....

Love her

I found this from Izrin's blog (which I think she found it from her friend's FB, so the credit should go the her friend's fb whom I guess found it from someone else FB and the list go on. Tengs)

Love her …when she sips on your coffee or tea. She only wants to make sure it tastes just right for you.

Love her…when she "pushes" you to pray. She wants to be with you in Jannah.

Love her…when she asks you to play with the kids. She did not "make" them on her own.

Love her...when she is jealous. Out of all the men she can have, she chose you

Love her…when she has annoying little habits that drives you nuts. You have them too.

Love her…when her cooking is bad. She tries.

Love her…when she looks dishevelled in the morning. She always grooms herself up again.

Love her…when she asks to help with the kids homework. She only wants you to be part of the home.

Love her...when she asks if she looks fat. Your opinion counts, so tell her she's beautiful.

Love her…when she looks beautiful. She's yours so appreciate her.

Love her...when she spends hours to get ready. She only wants to look her best for you.

Love her…when she buys you gifts you don't like. Smile and tell her it's what you've always wanted.

Love her…when she has developed a bad habit. You have many more and with wisdom and politeness you have all the time to help her change.

Love her…when she cries for absolutely nothing. Don't ask, tell her its going to be okay

Love her…when she suffers from PMS. Buy chocolate, rub her feet and back and just chat to her

Love her…when whatever you do is not pleasing. It happens and will pass

Love her…when she stains your clothes. You needed a new thobe (kurta) anyway

Love her…when she tells you how to drive. She only wants you to be safe.

Love her…when she argues. She only wants to make things right for both

Love her…she is yours. You don't need any other special reason!!!!

All this forms part of a Woman's Character. Women are part of your life and should be treated as the Queen.

The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) advised concerning the woman:

Treat the women well.

This post was written by a man. May Allah bless his marriage life for reminding other men to be what they are supposed to be.

11.11.11

Today is the day,
The day where tonnes of wedding hall were booked years earlier,
The day where all tok kadi are fully booked,

The day where the newbies in the wedding industries get to shine themselves and tell the whole world that "hey, we are here and we are as good as the rest"

Three of my friends are getting married today, 2 are having their solemnization and one friend is getting her marriage registered today...

What a perfect date to get married,

Husband has no excuse to forget the date as it is pretty simple date,
and that is considered awesome.

I dont really have time to blog about our reception at felda on the deepavali day last 2 weeks, but I will do it soon once I receive the official picture from danialhaikal studio. But for now just some teaser...

Till then,

Love

Nana
