Pacesetter = Hills

SMS received

May 15, 2010 9:01:19pm

Fara: "Nana yikez i xfully recover lg laa...alamak nana how abt u tomoro?"

I was at Lynn's hen party (which I will write a post about it later) when I received that sms. Jantungku seperti mahu meletup! (okay im exaggerating)...

Fara is my pacesetter for all my long distance run. As I posted earlier, I run better with someone besides me. I tend to slack/berhenti jalan if I run alone. I guess my mental is not that strong after all.

So when I received her msg saying that she cant make it for the race, for a minute there I was contemplating.

"Should I run tomorrow or not?"

"I can just chill here and keep partayyinnggg for that matters"

"But I have already paid RM50"

Text-ed booTak to inform him about the news only to realise that I can actually do it. Haih why la I need somebody to give me re-assurance!

"Alamak awak, Fara takleh lari esok. Huhuhu saya lari sorg keeeeeeeee?"

"U can, I know you can"

So I decided what the heck. Lari je la. Say goodbye to all the girls at the party and go back at almost 12pm. Yes i know. I probably missed the lap dancers cause he will only show up at 1am. *sigh*. So yeah I did go back, sour - hearted.

I woke up at almost 6am the next day. Rushed to Padang Merbuk and when I arrived I saw Kak Haza (the famous running mom) with her camera. and a man besides her shouted

"Faster, ladies will start in 2 mins"

Maka saya berspeedy gonzales ke starting line bersama Harizal yang juga lambat and when I almost reached the starting line, the flock has already been released. Damn!!! Maka menyelit di lautan manusia dan melompat masuk ke kandang and off me go. Started the race without proper stretching what not. Thus, I anticipate Im gonna have uneasy run afterwards

I dont know whether it is an advantage or cons if your race route is the route that you always run for your LSD or daily short run. Seriously. Because when you know the route so well, you tend to slack.

"Ah, lepas ni ada bukit so boleh jalan la lepas ni"
"Okay cun, lepas jalan kaki lepas ni leh lari laju sbb turun bukit gila tinggi"

So, I take it as a cons. Because I walked most of the time. Hahhaahhah....too many hills la. I malas. Pacesetter always like to create route yang sangat banyak hills schmills. I no likey okie.

To be honest, I almost wanted to quit even before the race start. It was a tiring weekend. Saturday went for groceries shopping, late lunch with booTak, lynn Hen party, slept at almost 2 and woke up at 6am. So that morning when Farah bbm me asking whether ill be running or not, for a minute there I thought of saying no will give me the satisfaction. I can continue my much needed sleep and have a gooday Sunday. But no, Im a runner and these kind of hindrance wont stop me. ewahhhhhhhh

So, these are the things that I like about the 15KM NB:
  • The most friendly volunteers and marshall. Theres one uncle, really friendly. I asked him wheres the nearest water station. He said "ah very near already, after the traffic light. Make sure you drink enuff okay" sweet.
  • Location nearby my house. Hehehe..if its at Bukit Jalil ke, Shah Alam ke for sure saya sudah tidak pergi menyertai kerana saya bangun lambat
  • Nice medal. I love it
  • The awesome Tau-F00-Fah

Things that I dont like:

  • Panaasssssssssss!! rasa mau pengsan wooo
  • Erm itu je yang tak suka

All in all I like it. Even though i was little bit struggling but tis' okay. This is a real wake up call for me that I can never improve my PB for 21km if my training method continues as the way it is now. *sigh* I need to join Boot Camp for that matters.

Tercipta Untukku

** This is long overdue post**

Aku ingin engkau selalu
Hadir dan temani aku
Di setiap langkah yang menyakiniku
Kau tercipta untukku
Sepanjang hidupku

Pasti waktu akan mampu
Memanggil seluruh ragaku
Ku ingin kau tahu ku selalu milikmu
Yang mencintaimu
Sepanjang hidupku..

- Tercipta Untukku - Ungu

That would be the lyrics of my upmost fav song ever. Yes! This is considered old song for this group but it has never bored me. Everytime I hear it aired on the radio, automatically my finger will go straight to the 'Increase Volume' button on my cheap Kelisa radio.

And having the chance to actually go to their concert is bliss. Okay it may sound exaggerating to some but it was to me. and yah Pasha ungu ya ampun comel bangat!!!

We reached Bukit Jalil Nasional Stadium at around 6.30pm and we were shocked. I think we managed to park like smack in front of the stadium. And as we searched around still tak ramai org. Im confused. Even the crowd for Akademia Fantasia concert was better than ours.

I believe this is due to the Double Trouble concert held at Mont Kiara. Yah. As I read the newspaper last Sunday, there were 20,000 people in Mt Kiara that night. wonder org sampai pengsan pengsan and muntah

Nonetheless, I still think Ungu concert was awesome. Yup! Awesome.
I wonder whether I should upload the video that I recorded, but better not. Or else you will have hearing problem for about a week listening to my sumbang-sih voice. I think I overpowered Pasha's voice

* Pasha yang comel. Okay I am being typical.

All in all I love the concert. Err except the part where some kerabat diraja came to the VIP box and sesukahati letak kerusi depan sekali and duduk situ. Pity those who actually make an effort to buy ticket early just to grab the front seat to see Pasha dengan clear gitu. I know you are VVIP but at least show some respect to another human being. As one kakak rightly mentioned it, "Kubur sama je weii".....which i thought was pretty brave of her to do that in front of the royalty line of bodyguards. Surprisingly bodyguard buat muka selamba je.
Okay, i give the concert 4.5 bintang
*wink wink*
On another matter, I am extremenly looking forward for this coming Friday. for the Thomas Cup Semi Final! w00t w00t!

the PAIN ball!

Hence the name, I should not waste my energy to describe how painful it was the experience
I Likeeeeeeeeeeee.....
Why one may ask? Buat sakit badan je bengkak bengkil sebab kena tembak

The satisfaction i just cant describe.

The day was called "This is WAR not love"
Again, hence the name so I should not describe again why it is named as such.
There were 14 of us which makes 2 team(s) of 7
Initially 20 people signed up but only 14 has the guts to come on the day.

Event took place at Uniten itself. Yes, I miss the place and all the memories. I miss wasting time at cafe waiting for next class. Not much of difference noted though. However, I recogn theres a lot of new houses/apartment build up. Maybe to cater more students

Anyway, we checked and test our marker, geared up and ready to fight the battle. Chewaahh beriyer je

* with Nawal testing our marker

* with Nawal...again

There were 3 of us, i mean girls. Me, Nawal and Zuret (picture not available). Zuret was the most powerful player I must say. Hebat and fearless. Tabikkkk...

So we had 6 games altogether with 3 different game plan; Flag Grabber, Defense Attack Mode and Last man standing (so called). and boy was it grueling. Hahhaha at least for me. I end up with 5 bruises on my body, couple of hand shots and NO HEAD SHOTS. Hebat? Think twice. Maybe I was good in hiding myself. Hehehehhe

End the game at almost 2pm, with NO PALLETS left (we had 500 per pax initially). Siap tambah pallet sebungkus lg
Had lunch and head back home after some lepak session with copot. Panjang sungguh sessi hati ke hati kami

* all

* my team: Super Loser yang sangat tidak loser

Repeat ada berani? (alamak so rempit)
