Life, Marriage and challenges...

"Finding the right man for marriage is the second challenge. The first challenge is to be the right woman that a right man wants to marry."

(Taken from A Girl's Say)

15 days to go...

and yah I am not going to talk about my wedding preparation here. Instead it feels right to talk about the preparation to enter marriage.

booTak asked me a question yesterday, "are you ready to get married?"

You might wonder what was my reaction towards that? Some might think that I might throw a fighting scream

"hey, apa soalan ni?

u ingat I tak ready ke?

Kenapa awak fikir macam ni?

This is just not fair to ask me this now"

Nah,

I didnt...

The first 4 awkward seconds I was just there, keeping it silent and trying to find the right answer only to realise there is no right answer to this question. Your answer wasnt supposed to please your other half, instead the answer should please you and makes you feel comfortable with it.

My answer "Yes, I am ready"

I know in my heart that I am ready for this.

Often we notice nowadays couples who wants to get married are focusing their energy to get the perfect wedding. What we should be focusing actually is to the journey afterwards, the marriage itself. We have to set a goal, an objective so we know the hurdle that we have to go through in the preparation is actually nothing. Greater things awaits us the moment he finally say his lafaz, accepting his responsibility to be the husband and for you to be his wife.

Ive seen one lavish and super cool wedding, and the couple divorced 6 months later. My first reaction was "aiyak, wasted only money spent on the wedding". I wasnt on the right track as well, that moment I should be thinking how frustrating that such a holly ikatan can be broken after only 6 months.

I realise marriage takes even greater effort and challenges than the wedding itself...and I am ready for that. I've found the right man (insyaAllah), now I just have to be the right woman to be with my right man....

Friends Forever

Do you ever has somebody that fits this...

undeniably trustworthy,
incredibly supportive and understanding
fantastic and fabulous
an incredible and wonderful person

That is a Super Friend award

I know I have one...
But she is flying off to UK tonight to pursue her dreams in modeling *NOT*
Pursuing her Masters actually (I hate scholarship)

I've met Annette my entire life. She has been there with me for 10 years already. First met her during our early year in uniten and we have been best friends ever since. I am annette and annette is me. Literaly....

Even her family is mine already, vice versa.

Even after we graduated we were still glued to each other. We worked at the same place, we stayed in the same house and spend weekends together until we got sick of each others and we decided yah we should get a boyfriend.

But even when the both of us are with someone in our life, that never change the fact that we are still best friends. After I had that traumatic experience in uni when I've realised I should never trust girls, I can still trust her, in fact she was the only one whom I put my trust that moment.

Today she is leaving me, leaving us to pursue her dream and some white dudes. I am so glad she has this opportunity to shine and I am glad she no longer has to work on weekends and sometimes at night.

Babe, if you are reading this, please know that you will always have my heart, my thoughts and my sincere prayer for your happiness and success in the English Land. You have been the best person/friend in my life and I thank you for that. It is sad not to have you around during my big day but I know somehow you are hurt too. The thoughts of not having you around to listen to all my crap is unbearable, but this is all for the best and I wish you the best of luck in your life.

Hit on some white dudes for me if you can (as I can no longer do that pfffttt), pls pls pls do travel, and live life to the fullest. Dont be such a nerd (yah, sitting at the front seat of a class is considered nerd) and pls dont listen to linkin park song's while studying; your roommate may hate you for that. Dont play video games in uni (Return of Castle Wolfenstein whatnot is so not cool) and during your free time dont do jigsaw puzzle in your room. Roomies may think you are weird. Hehhehe *peace*. Kick ass in your study okay, I know you will (cough *nerd* cough) and please do remember me. :)

What else...
Hurm yah!
Please dont bring puncher from malaysia and buy your stationaries at Leeds!

I love you babe...
Thank you for being my best friend

I can only do these kind of pose with her...

Love,

Nana

SAVE THE DATE: Goodbye Singlehood

Salam & Surpriseeeeee! *NOT*

I guess some of you may have noticed that I'm engaged recently. Thanks to those who uploaded my engagement pictures, now its no longer a surpise event. *boohoo*

So yah, I am regret to inform that I can no longer brag about singlehood but I am happy to announce that by the blessing and will of Allah SWT, I will be marrying the love of my life whom I met with the help of magical power of match-making...! Go cupid!

Sadly, he still thinks wearing dirty sneakers is awesome (he probably would wear those to our wedding *slaps forehead*), but he makes me smile whenever I hear his name mentioned and still manage to give me all sort of butterflies whenever he's around. I wonder how he does that. Pfffttttt!

Okay enough of sappiness, lets get back to business. I'd love for you guys to come and sharing the day with us. Promise you, no cheesy love songs!

So, please Save the Date ~22 October 2011~ for a day of joy, happiness and eternity to follow

Ouh ya, kindly drop me your address for the sending of invitation cards. This message is applicable for those who thinks they wont see me before the wedding date. Whoever that has eye contact with me for the next 40 days ur invi card will be flying to you pretty soon *winks*

Regards,

Pergi...

Sayu terpisah
Hikayat indah kini hanya tinggal sejarah
Berhembus angin rindu
Begitu nyamannya terhidu wangian kasihmu
Hujan lebat mencurah kini
Bagaikan tiada henti
Kaulah laguku kau irama terindah
Tak lagi kudengari
Kau pergi... pergi...
Sepi tanpa kata
Terdiam dan kaku tak daya kau kulupa
Apa pun kata mereka
Biarkan kenangan berbunga di ranting usia

Hujan lebat mencurah kini
Bagaikan tiada henti
Kaulah laguku kau irama terindah
Tak lagi kudengari
Kau pergi... pergi...

Hujan lebat mencurah kini
Bagaikan tiada henti
Kaulah laguku kau irama terindah
Tak lagi kudengari
Kau pergi... pergi...
Kau pergi... pergi...
Pergi...

Aizat - Pergi

It has been 29 days...

We miss you, really, really miss you...

Al - Fatihah...

Changes; inevitably...

Changes,
Inevitably it will ensue...
No one knows for sure what will the future holds once changes takes place, its all about adapting to it.

Often we know people succumb to changes and let it take affect on their lives. Good way or bad way? It is all depending on how you adapt to it. Again, adapt is the key word here.

I know how tough changes can be to anyone, and I know for sure adapting is strenuous at this point.

You are a tough person, I know you are...
You make me proud of you; everytime I lay my eyes on you and in every single thing that you do...

I pray for these strength to last forever as you are well needed as the leader...
To your family and most certainly to me...
and I pray for Allah to always be by your side to guide you in every decision making in future...
